Stripe charges a 3.49% processing fee that is deducted from your deposit making the amount paid towards your deposit less than the amount we require. Example: You want to pay $1,000. If you do not add the fee, you will owe $34.90 that will be added towards your final payment amount. However, if you add $34.90 to your deposit, you will still be shy the full amount because there is a fee on the $34.90!! So, in order to have everything covered, you would have to add $36.17 to have a full $1,000 deposit on our records. We have contacted Stripe about this issue, but they cannot (WON'T) do anything about it so we will have to just work with what we have at the moment.
SO, PLEASE ADD A MINIMUM 3.617% FEE TO YOUR DEPOSIT PAYMENT SINCE THEY DO NOT CALCULATE AND CHARGE IT TO YOU BUT TO US.
